Senior PR Account Executive (Remote/Flexible Hours)
We’re looking for a wonderful Senior PR Account Executive to join our growing business.
Working across a range of accounts, you’ll contribute to the management of PR activity, researching and writing press releases, articles, case studies etc., developing ideas for upcoming content and securing the best media opportunities to increase client exposure.
In a remote role with the opportunity to work flexible hours, we’re seeking an organised individual with experience, initiative and plenty of people skills to support our lovely clients and team.

Role and Responsibilities
Support a portfolio of PR accounts, providing counsel to aid clients’ PR and wider marketing activity
Conceptualise, research and write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and award entries
Conduct both reactive and proactive media enquiries
Create pitches and sell-in story ideas to journalists and online platforms
Build media and forward feature lists, understanding the best opportunities for client coverage
Develop trusted relationships with key media contacts and publications relevant to client needs
Organise phone or video interviews for client spokespeople with journalists, attending these meetings when needed
Generate creative and effective ideas for upcoming PR activity, communicating new ideas and solutions to clients
Support research creation for clients, producing data that can inspire PR activity, provide new insights for the market and peak media interest
Develop a strong understanding of client-specific media and keep up to date with industry trends and the competitive landscape
Build relationships with existing and potential clients, informing on progress and managing expectations
Monitor media coverage and report updates to the PR team and clients.
Skills/Experience Required
3+ years of experience in a PR role (agency or in-house)
Previous knowledge and experience in the B2B/HR/Workplace industry is beneficial
Previously established relationships and contacts with B2B, HR, and/or tech press is desirable but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - to write copy, edit content and present ideas to clients and journalists
First-class interpersonal skills - we’re all about good people. We’re looking for someone who can engage effectively with clients and media contacts, develop relationships and support the wider team
Good time management - meeting journalist, client and team deadlines is essential; you must be able to work to tight deadlines and effectively communicate progress to the team
Lots of initiative - someone who can bring new ideas to the table and react quickly to industry and media activity is key
Commercial insight - you should be able to develop strong understandings of client business activities, develop relevant PR activity and identify opportunities that can highlight their people and business.
Working Hours
This role has the opportunity for flexible working hours. We know that different people work better at different times of day and we’d love to support you with this. Though this is a full time role, we want you to work when is best for you - given it matches client and deadline needs. The exact exact hours can be agreed upon between PR in HR and the chosen candidate.
